It contains silicone, which allows for better adhesion and flexibility. the added flexibility allows for seasonal expansion and contraction of building materials without cracking. The durable formulation applies easily with a standard caulking gun to prevent air, moisture, dust and pests from passing through cracks and joints. Ideal for caulking and sealing window and door frames, pipes, moldings, vents, corner joints, baseboards, siding and trim and ducts. Cured caulk is mildew resistant. It is paintable with both oil and latex paints and adheres to wood, brick, glass, metal, plaster, drywall and painted surfaces. The latex formulation cleans up easily with soap and water. Additionally, it exceeds the performance requirements for ASTM C 834, the standard specification for latex sealants.
